What is a Meteorologist?
A meteorologist also known as a weatherman or weathercaster is a specialized scientist that has the main duty of observing, understanding and being able to explain through scientific principles how the Earth’s atmosphere affects and impacts the Earth and everyone that lives on it. Issuing forecast is just one of the things that these meteorologists are prepared to do, since they are many types of meteorologists and plenty of job opportunities.
For instance, a broadcast meteorologist is responsible and is the one who reports weather for the television that hired him or her. This career field is really popular and since it’s an entry-level career you only need a Bachelor’s degree or depending on the requirements of the state in which you are working none at all.
